Our Team
Sara Macauley
Principal
Sara began her career in large corporations, including The Boots Group and Royal Bank of Scotland, where she served as Head of Marketing for the Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland divisions. As a strategic brand consultant, Sara worked with global brands such as Technip, BP, and Shell. However, it was while building the global oil and gas services brand, Reservoir Group, that she discovered her passion for working with smaller, entrepreneurial companies.
This experience inspired Sara to start Kindred, offering flexible support across multiple expert functions, tailored to the individual needs of each client. The collaborative partnership with clients is designed to accelerate their success.
Sara is a proud GlobalScot; a member of an altruistic, global network of senior, influential business leaders and founders around the world who give their time to support Scotland’s economic development. Driven by a passion for fostering collaboration and seeing others achieve their goals, Sara volunteers her time as a GlobalScot to mentor Scottish companies with business interests in the US.
Sarah Durbridge

Since relocating to Houston in 2013, Sarah has worked for bp and Aspire – a work program for neurodivergent adults. Sarah is also the Executive Director at the British American Business Council Texas, where she collaborates with UK and Texas-based companies and professionals engaged in transatlantic trade.
Sarah is excited to have joined Kindred Strategic as an Account Director, where she has the opportunity to help translate clients’ goals and aspirations into strategic, actionable growth plans.
